Jim Coyle is the voice behind Indy Sports Beat, a daily sports broadcast built for Indiana fans. Live on the radio, ready on demand, and always local.
Jim Coyle is a 1991 graduate of Indiana University who built his broadcasting career from the ground up, working as a sports reporter and anchor at CBS affiliate WLKY-TV in Louisville, NBC affiliate WJFW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin, and NBC affiliate KNDU-TV in Kennewick, Washington, along with production work for CBS Sports covering college basketball and MLB. He returned to his Indiana roots to launch Indiana Sports Beat Radio, a daily sports talk show now in its eighth year that has become a go-to source for IU, Purdue, Big Ten, Colts, Pacers, and Indiana high school sports coverage. Today, Jim brings that same daily conversation to Indy Sports Beat on 98.7 The Zone, talking Indiana sports with the players, coaches, and media who cover them best.
